The N-methylaniline market has been declining since August 2024, with factory prices almost halving in recent times and gross profit dropping by over 80%. The decline in various indicators has far exceeded the decline of its primary raw material aniline during the same period.

Additionally, a rapid expansion by a peer company abroad and the emergence of two new manufacturers have led to an increase in production capacity from 80,000 tons in 2022 to 380,000 tons in 2024, resulting in an operating rate of less than 60% across various factories. 

Our company's 200000 ton new expanding will also be put into operation in the near future, adding a total production capacity of 500000 tons to the market.  

An imminent price war is expected, and our price of N-methylaniline will once again undergo significant adjustments.
